The Ile de la Cité (short)

This tour is an alternative long tour of the Ile de la Cité. If you don't have a lot of time, or if you have already visited the Sainte-Chapelle, the Conciergerie or Notre-Dame de Paris, without taking the time to dawdle around, it is made for you.

Without forgetting the unavoidable monuments of the Ile de la Cité, it gives prominence to ramble and offers you some unusual deviations towards medieval (or not !) vestiges.

This complete tour of the Ile de la Cité, with a little incursion on the charming Ile Saint-Louis very near, will tell you the history of Paris, when it was still called Lutetia, and the origin and evolution of its emblematic buildings.

The past has left numerous vestiges, still present ; you just need to look up or to look at your feet to see them. So, are you ready to go back in time ?
